KGS A level Art 1967 1968

My A level subjects were Maths, Physics, Art and Woodwork. I also did an O level in Technical Drawing during sixth form. One project I did was to make a model of Poulton-le-Fylde Methodist church at 4mm to the foot scale. The school chose to keep the model otherwise I would have put it onto my oo gauge train set.

The picture above is by a fellow pupil 'Bosif'. I really liked his work.

These photographs were taken in the quad on a nice sunny day. They have been professionally developed and printed unlike most of the pictures that I have posted. I chose the low angle to try and show my modelling of the windows and glass doors to the church, come on I was only 17 so I'm impressed with what I achieved.

Dave Scott, Rob Pigott, Rob Heath, Me, Peter Waring (Bosif). Peter did the drawing at the head of this post. I think Peter's dad owned an agricultural shed business in Wrea Green. The playing field behind is where we kicked a ball about after school on many occasions.
