This was a classic gig in Manchester University Union. The place was packed. As the building has four floors including the basement I guess it has a large allowed capacity. There was a bar in the basement and one on the floor below the main gig room where there were discos. The main gig was in the room on the top floor. The walls were running with condensation. Water (sweat) was cascading down the steps. A brilliant night enjoyed through a haze of Newcastle Brown. This was followed by a trip to the Plaza Cafe for a hot half biryani, ears still ringing. Euphoria for a week.
